A small alpaca farm with quality huacaya alpacas and herdsire services on Camano Island.

We are Islandcrest Alpacas, a family run small alpaca farm, home to 30 quality white and colored huacayas. We are located on Camano Island,60 miles north of Seattle, Washington (70 miles south of the Canadian border) and 7 miles west of Stanwood, Washington. We live on an island but a ferry is not required!

We welcome visitors to our farm, but please call before, so we can arrange a visit.

All of our alpacas are priced to sell. We are not getting out of the alpaca business, we just really need to downsize. All of the alpacas listed here and on our Openherd page are from some of the best herdsires in the country and you will be getting outstanding bloodlines capable of taking your herd to the next level, at a very affordable price.

Why Invest in Alpacas?
We purchased our first males in 2000 when we were looking for livestock of any kind to have on our 5 acres. They are ideal as they are very easy keepers and are gentle on the land. The income potential is there in breeding stock and fiber produced.

The interest in alpacas is growing steadily as the years progress, with the hope that someday in the near future, the number of alpacas can support a profitable alpaca fiber industry. Alpaca fleece is one of the world’s finest and most luxurious natural fibers. It is clipped from the animal once a year.

Why Islandcrest Alpacas?
We support the small farmer. Our goal is to introduce others to the wonderful world of alpacas and provide information, guidance and support to those who decide to invest for the first time, or already have alpacas and would like to add to their herd.

Whether you are looking for fiber males, breeding dams, or herdsires for sale or hire, we will be there for our clients from day one. We will provide support and mentoring, which we truly believe is a necessity for succeeding in the alpaca business.

Please enjoy our website and if you have any questions or would like to arrange to visit our alpaca farm, please give us a call.
